Government Polytechnic / University Application
Application for Singapore Polytechnics:
Singapore has five established Polytechnics: Singapore Polytechnic, Temasek Polytechnic, Ngee Ann Polytechnic, Nanyang Polytechnic and Republic Polytechnic. These five Polytechnics offer three-year college courses after graduation, a diploma certificate is issued. All Polytechnic students from Singapore are provided with 80% tuition grants options but students are bounded to sign a contract with the Ministry of Education in Singapore requiring students after graduation to work in Singapore for 3 years. It is very easy to find a job in Singapore thus paving the path to apply for permanent resident (green card) which is why entering Polytechnics are preference to Chinese students.
To enter the Polytechnics in Singapore, students can choose to participate in the annual local ‘O’ Level examinations and obtain the entry requirement before admission. (for better understanding of the 'O' level, please contact the consultant), or provide a Chinese senior high school graduation certificate with notary certification or Chinese college entrance examination scores with notary certification (SAT score must meet a university admission requirement) in order for our agency to arrange for students for admission into Polytechnics in Singapore.
Documents required:
01. - 6 standard passport-size photograph (only accept white background photo)
02. – Applicant’s passport copy.
03. - Applicant's parents passport copy (the first page and last page). If no passport, please provide a copy of their parents ID (if you have a passport extension or replacement passport, you need to specify the second page of the passport extension and replacement pages clear copy).
04. - Applicant's original birth certificate with notary certification (Chinese/ English).
05. - Applicant’s senior high school graduation certificate with notary certification (Chinese/English).
06. - College entrance examination certificate and transcript notification of the entrance exams (Chinese/English).
Application for Singapore Government Universities:
Singapore has three public universities established by the Government to provide a four-year undergraduate courses issued with a Bachelor Degree certificate after graduation. Students admitted to public universities are entitled 80% of tuition grants and graduates can easily find a job in Singapore and apply for Singapore Permanent residency (green card) if choose to.
As Singapore's three public universities world ranking is high, more stringent requirements for student enrollment is inevitable and both local and foreign students are required to attend the annual ‘A’ Level examinations for entry requirement scores for admission. ‘A’ Level examinations consist of Arts and Sciences, which Arts include Mathematics, English, Economics, Accounting and Business Management. Sciences on the other hand include General Math, English, Physics, Advanced Math and Chemistry. All examinations are in English.
All Chinese students are advised to go for a 10 to12 months preparatory tuition classes in ‘A’ level courses and then participate in an annual ‘A’ level exams and those who met the entry requirement can successfully go for admission to the local public universities. Our agency can arrange for these preparatory tuition classes for ‘A’ level courses to students wanting to admit to the local universities. Chinese graduates who want direct entry to any of the local universities must meet IELTS 6.0 or higher, or TOEFL 79 points or more and our agency can arrange for them to enroll into the local universities.

06. - Student enrolled in master's degree programs need to provide university certificate, transcript of the four-year university certificate, university English class certificate and Bachelor Degree certificate all with notary certification plus working resumes (Chinese/English).
07. - Provide IELTS score of 6.0 or higher or TOEFL 79 points or more.
